If so-called "christians" want to do non-Christian therapy(Reiki, or anything like this), they need to join a Shinto or Tao religous group instead of infiltrating the body of Christ--the church. This stuff has no place in the Christian's life. Of course, the RCC has already allowed unbiblical practice inside it for many centuries. So these nuns should repent or be excommunicated. The same applies to people in the Protestant churches also. Repent or leave. The New Testament alread tells us what to do to minister healing(James 5) and Reiki is not the method. God says "Touch not the unclean thing and I will receive you."
True founder of america, yes, in a way it is true, or possibly more correctly the founder of what was the original American church...which was basically Reformed in doctrine and practice. Considering the hodgepodge confusion of American christianity today(particularly the charismatic frenzy) shows that the U.S. needs to return to the Reformed faith.
No, John, simply joining the Baptist church does not guarantee Obama would become a Christian. No Baptist faith statement says simply joining a Baptist church gurantees birth into God's kingdom.

Yes, something like that. Simply this: Searching for, testing and venerating relics are unheard of among the Christians in the New Testament. I have a "relic" in my home. It's called the Holy Bible and it alone is sufficient.
Now if they embraced the reformed faith--the doctrine and practice of the real church(strict faithfulness to Scripture Alone), this would be a non issue.

I'd imagine this is not the reformed but deformed liberal Episcopal church. Holidays such as easter are not holy and have no scriptural warrant. The Apostle Paul lamented at the Galatians' obervance of days and religious festivals.

And they worshipped the creature more than the creator. Yep, no surprise this is a pentecostal church. As long as it works to draw a crowd or cause awe, it must be of God even if it isn't in the Bible. The pastor cares more about politics than a soul's redemption.
The Potter is free to do with the clay vessel as He pleases and the vessel has no position to say to the Creator "Why have you made me this way?" The Apostle Paul even stated God has made some unto destruction(Rom. 9 and predestination is taught in Romans 8.)

I think this issue is already clearly settled in the scriptures...only men were apostles and established congregations, etc. This is just the way it is, not that I am against women, but I only support the positions God has ordained for men and women.
Well, they must have some sense of scripture only and Christ only if they are banning this kind of behavior. At least this is what the original Anglican confession says--affirms the sufficienc of scripture and faith alone. I suppose though there is room for more scriptural reform among them, particularly in its worship and observance of days and feasts, etc.
