“ Great Sermon! ”
Excellent teaching of this very important doctrine of truth. The Lord wrote His Book of Praise in the Book of Psalms. Why would you not use the Praise which God provided for His worship? How could anyone replace it by the works of sinners? This is a Biblical message that really needs to be received and comprehended by all believers. Praise GOD by God's praise. Nothing else can supersede this Book.

“ Very challenging Sermon! ”
It seems to me that far too many of us don't put enough thought into the whole issue of Biblical worship. Truth will not be discovered by majority vote but by prayerful, sound exposition of the Word of God. Truth remains truth - regardless of how many agree.

“ Great Sermon! ”
Excellent introduction to exclusive psalmody! In addition to the irrefutable argument Pastor Silversides makes for the exclusive use of the inspired Psalter in worship, we would like to add that singing the Psalms has been of tremendous spiritual benefit to us. We've been singing the Psalms for about eighteen years, and as our knowledge and understanding of the Psalms has grown, we've found them to be a means of increasing our understanding of the rest of the Bible, as well. Our faith in and love for the Saviour has deepened so much as a result. We can't imagine ever going back to man-made hymns again!

“ A Very Good Presentation ”
I deeply appreciate the humility and charity toward others that Rev. Silversides took while giving arguements for exclusive psalmody. We need to appreciate the Word of God more and trust Him to give us what is good. Because bibles are so readily available, we take the Word of God for granted. We also take for granted our freedom to worship publically. I believe the USA will have to see plenty of severe persecution before the Church takes the regulative principle of worship and God's commands seriously. It's hard for me to believe that as depraved as man is that God would leave him to his own in the realm of song in worship. May we remember our ancestors who had their tongues cut out and went to the gallows with bloody mouths singing these psalms, making melody in their hearts and really understanding that melody since they could no longer enunciate. Here we have churches all over our country using their tongues to sing their own selfish and even some blasphemous inventions, when such a beautiful songbook and heritage was given to us. May the Church love God's songbook - the inspired Psalms! Thank you so much for this beautiful, well done message.
