How many churches are dogged by an atmosphere of tension and uneasyness because of unresolved issues from the past. Their witness all but nullified because people simply can't bear to be with one another.
How many hours have we lost from our lives because we've allowed ourselves to be eaten away by bitterness, because of something someone has either said or done to us. Yes we've forgiven them but we haven't forgotten, with the result that it's having a debilitating impact and a corrosive affect on our lives.
We have been set free to live in Christ for the Father's glory but too often we are living our new lives paralysed by the psychological and emotional consequences of our inability to forgive others.
This sermon addresses this issue head on from Bible and is driven by a passion which sees 'Forgiveness', the ability to deal with others who mistreat us, as being essential to our wellbeing in our lives and churches.
