Thanks for stopping by! I'm a writer, entrepreneur, and in ministry. I love blue oxford button-down shirts and use the 😜 emoji way more than I should. I never set out to be a writer, but I love stories and ideas, and want to use my experiences to help you thrive.
My Mission
I believe God has put you on this earth for a reason. Your story isn't an accident, but rather the context for you to serve God and your neighbor. I'm not content with you floating through life, and want you to reach your potential for the betterment of God's Kingdom and the communities around you.
So that's why I write. I'm not going to tell you what to do, but rather want to equip and encourage you to see the opportunities in your community and to act on them. I think big things are possible, and want to see you make the most of your life .
A Little Background
I grew up in a small town in Kansas, and after going to seminary in Pittsburgh, spent a year in South Sudan working with church leaders there. I then moved to New York City in 2014 and started an apartment cleaning business in Brooklyn, before later working at Redeemer Presbyterian Church. Now, I’m focusing on writing and the gray area between church and society. |
