When God brings destruction on your nation, inter cede, grieve, and instruct in repentance.
1. The cycle of destruction begins with God's clear warnings. (5-9)
2. Even when people won't hear God's warnings, your job is to intercede for them. (10).
3. God sends destruction because people insist on going their own way. (11-18, 22)
4. Even though destruction is the results of people's rebellion, grieve for them. (19-21)
5. Even when God sends complete destruction, there is still opportunity for a new start. (23-29)
6. In spite of being broken by destruction, people are clueless about how to respond; therefore, continue to call for repentance. (30-31) |
