“ Rejoice ”
I struggled with the word "Rejoice" in this passage. How do I feel Joyful, Happy, Pleasure...in the midst of suffering?
Not in the midst, but through endurance, it builds my character which gives me HOPE. I endure in Faith, resting in the Peace that I have in God. I rejoice in a certain HOPE because God's love for me is certain. As the father brought the Son through tremendous suffering to Glory, so he will bring me through suffering into Glory being helped by the Holy Spirit.
Rejoice = Triumph = Victory. PTL!
