God breaks through in various ways. As Perez in Genesis 38 broke through to be born ahead of his twin brother, Zerah and was named for that break-through, so God broke through against Uzza causing David to be afraid of God. But then God blessed David and broke through against the Philistines who came against David. (The same term is use in all these and other Old Testament cases.) God also broke through His Messiah for our sake at the Cross. But Christ broke through His enemy in the Mount of temptation (Matthew 4), the binding of the strong man (Matthew 12) and His resurrection. This should encourage us that God has established Christ's reign.
