Idea: God promises to take care of His church with His own hands. Intro: This passage is the last of a larger section that covers chapters 13-27. The broad theme of the section has been the Messianic Kingdom of Christ who exercises his authority over the nations of the earth and extends his kingdom to the ends of the earth. Chapters 24-27 conclude the section with high poetry and praise for the King of Kings. The main idea is that God promises to take care of His people with His own hand.
We can extend the teaching of this passage to the church as well. As we belong to the Lord, we can take comfort from the fact that God Himself cares for the church with His own hands. And even though it seems sometimes like Satan's destructive forces are overwhelming the church at large, or overwhelming you personally, so that you feel forsaken, you can take comfort in God's reassuring promise to care for His people.
