Introduction—You will be eaten by cannibals!
1. You are living in the promised Day of Zechariah's prophecy. (“in that day … in that day”)
2. This Day is an age of great spiritual conflict. (v. 2, siege; v. 3, nations; v. 4, horse and rider; v. 4, in Jerusalem)
3. When opposition is fierce, remember that the Lord has made His church a stumbling block to the nations. (v. 2, cup of staggering; v. 3, heavy stone; v. 6, blazing pot and flaming torch)
4. As you engage in battle, remember that the Lord Jesus has promised to be your strength and victory. (v. 5, 6, 8)
