Many admonitions, instructions, and promises have preceded, but Paul has one more exhortation for the saints to receive, "live in peace." Five commands combine to reinforce one powerful admonition which is that Corinthians must exert all their energy to achieve this one grand objective. And just to spur them on to double duty, he leaves them with a powerful promise if they should wholeheartedly seek this unity, the God of love and peace will be with them to bless them with His abiding presence.
