the Galatian church is chalenged on those pushing for circumcistion. This was an outward show of religion of the judaizers. They have a pretense to make a good show but not the hear to honor God. Circumcision was an element to take pride in, it enabled glorying in the keeping of the law. Pride in our obedience is opposed to boasting in Christ righteousness
