May the Lord help you to prepare to worship Him as your Great Redeemer. Last week we looked at Boaz and his pursuit of redemption in Ruth 4:1-6. Boaz had made a promise to Ruth in Ch.3 to bring about her redemption. Then in Ch.4:1-6 he set out to bring it to pass. Now in Ch 4:7-12 we see Boaz accomplishing the redemption he was pursuing for Ruth. This fulfilled redemption was confirmed by a sign, filled with grace and blessed by the Lord. Praise God that in Jesus Christ what was typified in Boaz for Ruth is accomplished in Christ for us.
