They deliberately ignore statements like in my post that says
"Justified by faith alone with works as sanctification after justification".

Because if they acknowledged it they would have to see biblical 'works' come after a person is saved.

Closing your eyes doesn't make the truth go away tho. God isn't a supermarket... you can't pick and choose which items you take and leave behind.

And yet it's the critical matter of the means by which a person is saved that makes the only eternal difference.

Justified by faith alone with works as sanctification after justification?
RCC: no - you're anathema if you believe that
Prot: yes - it's what scripture says

Scripture and Pope disagree on this one issue. It just happens to be a deal breaker item of the Christian faith.

Rom 1:21 Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened. Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools, and changed the glory of the incorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things.

Papal infallibility supposedly only applies to matter of doctrine. At least in it's current form. How it was applied generations ago was different. Not that any self respecting Roman Catholic will admit or research that.

Would God convert a drunkard and cause him to desire to stay in the bar to convert others?

Which is a worse temptation... a saved ex-roman catholic attending the roman system he was indoctrinated with, or the ex-alcoholic attending a drinking session at a bar? (I don't actually know the answer)

John:

It's because the Holy Spirit indwelling the believer will not suffer deliberate attendance where there is repeated blasphemy.
If the Protestant protest and beliefs are correct, then they obviously are simply correct. So logic would dictate that that is where people should worship.

I assume from that statement that conversely, antichristian moral values are expected to be taught in schools. Tho they'd deny it, out of their deliberate ignorance on what they do teach.

Morals will be taught regardless. It's the type of morals they are trying to discourage and encourage that speak volumes.

It's no wonder many Christian kids are homeschooled. It's the only safe way to educate your kids.

This would be one instance where I fully support the american way of suing people until proper reparation is made.

The officers who told them they were not allowed to exercise their rights should be fired, if not jailed for a month or two to teach them about freedom.

And of course make it as public as possible because these Christians have now been all over global news because of this.

Most churches have lawyers in the congregation. Most have accountants. Getting it running smoothly doesn't take much effort.

My church has it's records all straight simply because we have to manage property and tax.

As for plants, Hinn has been shown up a few times as having a person at the front door with a microphone feeding him info. I heard one example where a guy in a wheelchair told his sob story, got on stage, Hinn 'miraculously' told of the guys illnesses, and the guy then stood up and called him a fake stating the only person he had told those lies to was the person at the door.
I haven't seen the source material but I've heard it told a few times.

The church that I pastor does not take a stand on the issue of abortion.

***

For that reason I am not inclined to take such advise seriously. The Bible is quite clear on the matter. I choose to see murder for what it is.

Isn't it interesting that the very reason they give to legalise abortive murder is exactly what the abortion did to her.
Abortions are legal so that the children do not have an adverse effect on the mothers life. She killed herself because the abortion left her traumatised and suicidal.

Will the authorities change the law to protect the mothers from the trauma of abortion? Nope. They are happy baby killers the way they are.

Humans didn't evolve, and most earthquakes happened during and after the flood some 2000 years after creation. Evolutionists now have taken the creationist model of a single land mass in ancient times. As the flood was the major cause of the breakup of this land mass, everything would be considered quite stable before that time when compared to now.

ps. When a pastor relies on evolution as a way of explaining this it says more about the curch than it does the geology.

Ban teaching of evolution in schools. That's the number 1 contributing factor in these killings. That the students believe life is meaningless and that they are nothing but a random fluke soon to be extinguished into eternal nothingless.

Banning that and replacing it with truth, that we are actually responsible to someone and that we don't simply cease to exist, and gun crime will go down. Not because the stupid machines are removed, but because the desire to use them is removed.

America's problem isn't only it's machines. It's it's attitude (as with all other violent countrys).

Best quote (imo) from the article:

-
“The argument we make is this: When you believe in millions of years of evolution and add it to the Bible, you actually have to change what the Bible clearly says,” explained Ken Ham, the founder of the museum and CEO of the apologetics ministry Answers in Genesis, in an interview with The Christian Post. “You have to reinterpret it. That unlocks the door to say that you don’t take this as written. You reinterpret it from outside influences, which means that you tell the next generation that you can’t take the Bible as written. So you just undermine biblical authority.”
-

Creation foundations in no way diminish the accuracy and logic of a scientist. The only hindrance it creates is that the evolutionary believing scientists try to kick you out for your scientific presuppositions.

Last time I checked, Creation by God was design by intelligence.

If you want to argue that there was no intelligence, or design in it, then that's your choice. But that's not real.

ps. God didn't write scripture in english.

While it is true that ID is not always Biblical Creationism, it still can be if that is what the person believes is behind the ID.

The article doesn't state whivh version of ID this man believes, but regardless of that he should not have been denied a fair oppertunity to defend himself. This was nothing but a witch hunt from Day 1.
