Great Sermon! Oh England forgive us God; oh Wales forgive us God; Oh Scotland and Northern Ireland forgive us dear God.
So blessed a nation; arguably the most blessed nation under the Heaven thats ever been; but yet we have forsaken thee oh God. So many of our churches have ran toward the world and embraced its values; our youth do not cherish or even realise their most wonderful inheritance; our politicians and government have replaced the fear and law of the Almighty with its own moral standards, where good is called evil and evil good. Marriage has been undermined in our society and been replaced by an ungodly immoral substitute, where sensuality is all that counts. Murder of the unborn child is called planned parenthood and where masculinity and femininity has been replaced by transgenderism. New lines have been drawn up and new ideologies have been made, where God has been "so called" deposed and resigned to the annuls of a bygone era. God have mercy on the United kingdom, unless we perish oh Lord have mercy on this green and once pleasant land!

A call to prayer Pastor Donnelly's careful, legitimate, and devastating parallels between Judah and the United Kingdom ought to shake us from our sloth and ease, and set us praying and working for the glory of God in our nation. We need soberly to consider the present realities and more awful prospects of judgement set out in this sermon, that they might draw forth from us a righteous and repentant response.

Urgent plea for national repentance This 2nd sermon in the Jeremiah series is an important plea for repentance in our nations today. Especially important is the way in which Donnelly connects the ingratitude, irrationality and insensitivity of Judah to our similar treatment of God. How easy it is for us to have other gods before the one true God.
By way of suggestion, it is helpful to have the Scripture reading included in the broadcast so that the listener can always hear the reading of the passage. Many listen in cars or while doing various activities and cannot read the passage.
