Jesus openly acknowledged that He is the promised Messiah, the triumphant king, as He entered Jerusalem to die.
Those who rebel against Christ's kingly rule, and reject His perfect sacrifice will not stand in the day of judgment. God's justice will be served, to His glory. The coming of the king should strike fear in your heart if you are standing against him. But you need not stay there. He is meek, stooping to save sinners. Turn in humble repentance and seek mercy from the only source of life and forgiveness. By faith, offer yourself to the King of kings and lord of lords. |
