The “Living God” compared to “dead” idols. b. Earthly, human religion is based upon rituals or rationalism, not on a relationship. c. Idols are dead. Idolatry is antithetical to the worship of a living God! III. The True God a. The “True God” compared to “false” idols. b. The LORD is true: He is not like us. False gods & idols are made like sinful man
