God then commanded that the tabernacle be constructed as a place He would meet with His people. The tabernacle is replaced by the temple, but both are only replicas of the true sanctuary in heaven. We are to be consumed with zeal for God’s house because we meet with Him—not in a building but the true sanctuary.
