God kept his promise to Solomon: Solomon received the wisdom needed to discern good and evil and rule the kingdom. And as Solomon used an acid test to reveal the prostitutes' hearts, so God often uses acid tests to reveal our own. So whenever we are in a crisis, let us cry out to God, who did not spare his own Son, but subjected him to the sword for us. |
