In addition to Darwin's model having no necessary connection with reality, his disciples no only cannot think of superior alternatives, they ignore the superior alternatives that are available because it does not fit their paradigm. Their rejection of an all-powerful, all-wise, all-knowing Creator God blinds them to the reality that their most recent findings in genetics so obviously support: God used some of the same basic stuff (particular sequences within DNA and RNA) in many different species. But rather than concede the obvious, these "scientists" are busy groping in the dark for theories that can explain how the stuff got from one species to another "horizontally" rather than "vertically" instead of dealing with the best explanation - that it happened "simultaneously" or nearly so (give or take a day or two).

If this is what Swedish "conservative Moderate" policy is like, I'd hate to imagine what their liberals would like to do. But then, our American "neo-conservatives" really aren't really new or conservative, so maybe politicians are the same everywhere.

The thought is nice, but a jubilee would not work for several reasons:
1. God's sabbath laws were for Israel, not for the rest of the world.
2. Only the tribes and houses of Israel were assigned specific plots of land to which the ownership reverted, and which was a big part of the jubilee - and there is no mention that Israel ever actually observed the jubilee (unless you count the Babylonian captivity). So to whom would the land revert?

The mass media has proclaimed Rick Warren the leader of all "conservative Christians" and "evangelicals" so that what he says supposedly represents all of us. Sort of like the descriptions of Ted Haggard as the head of the "30-million member" NAE. It's gotten so I don't want to be associated with the labels these folks carry in the media, like "evangelical" or "born-again" or "conservative."

I would like to know what "uncompromising" form of gov't would be immune to the aforementioned problems.
One-world theocratic dictatorship under a perfectly wise and all-powerful king is the only such government. Even so, come quickly, Lord Jesus.

Thank you Trevor, a much needed response to the nonsense sermon preached against the doctrines of Grace. Having heard the sermon against Calvinism, I can say it was nothing more than the ignorant, blasphemous ramblings, of someone who has not got a single clue about the subject he was speaking on. A great response Trevor, thank you.

Amen! Thank you for this wonderful message! For many years I was ignorant (see Romans 10:3) of the imputed righteousness of Christ...placed to our account by faith alone... What joy filled my heart when I learned this great truth! As someone has rightly said...the imputed rightesness of Christ is like a "tranquilizer for the soul"...! And then later on I learned about the wonderful doctrine of our election in Christ before the foundation of the world! What a blessing it is to have our eyes opened to these great truths! It is like "being saved all over again"...(if that were possible).

Amen! Be sure to hear this wonderful message! Yes, let God's elect church be the church, and let the redeemed of the Lord say so! (The Lord knoweth them that are His!)... This sermon was a comfort for me to hear in these troubled times...(For such a time as this)...I am glad that these inspirational messages are being heard all over the world!
