Amen! Please notice that this wonderful message does not teach "eternal security"...(that once saved we can live as we please, etc), but it proclaims the correct view: The Perserverance of the saints! Or even better, the Perserverance of God IN His saints!
Psalms 138:8 ... The LORD will perfect that which concerneth me... |

I heard this one a second time and was reminded of the old song we used to sing..."Oh what A Wonder that Jesus Found Me, Out in the darkness, no light could I see"... However, sad to say, most of our churches these days have lost the "wonder of it all"...
This sermon is unique because it points out the fact that...who would of thought that Onesimus (a run-away slave) was chosen and predestinated by God (before time began) to become a bond slave of the Lord Jesus Christ, and one of God's elect..! |

1*,2* How dare you say I try to get people to doubt God's infallible, inerrant word! This is a nonsense I teach people to be willing to die for God's word.3* You have been in error in this debate, 1stly for arguing about Hebrew words you know nothing about. 2ndly for promoting the KJV above all others. 3rdly for suggesting I am seeking to lead people away from God's word. 4* Your Romish tendencies are to let other people think for you! you clearly do not know much Hebrew or Gk, that is fine as this is by no means a prerequisite, but you blindly follow the KJ translators in their translation of these languages, you blindly follow TBS and their interpretation of the situation, just the way the Roman Catholic blindly follows the pope and his priests. Sola Scriptura! ps I try to get Christians to study some Hebrew and Greek, as this equips them for greater depth in their bible study, also I do not want people to blindly follow any man (save the God man) but to search the scriptures for themselves.
This is the essence of Protestantism! |
